Like today it was an amazing autumn day and all i could do was tweet about it.
I looked up to the sky and the beautiful trees that were shedding their once green but now lovely orange brown leaves and took it all in.
I got to know and fell in love with Art Nouveau and Alfons Mucha when i went to a expo of his work a few years ago for a school project.
With the above painting in particular.
Gosh i love autumn.

Slow September

This September is a bit quiet without any gigs.
Last year i saw the amazing Patrick Wolf and the year before that i ran into the last Bowerbirds song but experienced Bon Iver from beginning to the above amazingly closing.
A September this slow feels weird.

The Bike Song

In the last two months the chain of my beloved bike filly has broken about 5 times and i'm just happy it only happened at moments when walking was a small annoyance and not a big problem.
It is a big problem when it happens when i'm heading home at 00.15 or going to work at 5.05. *touch wood*
I love my filly but "Gonna ride my bike until i get home" is becoming a bit of a question instead of a statement.

Ink wish number 2

I love Yeasayer.
I've been dubbing about my ink wishes and Yeasayer has been added to my list for an inkt spot.




I had to go to work and it was the first time i wentfrom my house and leaving at 3 was scary.
When i reached the land of the living and surrounded with lights Ambling Amp came on and soothed my nerves.

My mother gave me that painting when i left the nest.


I saw this painting made by Deborah Azzopardi at Ikea and i'm sure those two would look pretty snazzy next to each other.

A while ago i somehow ended up watching the David Letterman show and all of a sudden Robin Thicke (I didn't recognised him at first either) was singing his new song and next to him a lady i didn't know doing her thing.


I went looking and fell in love with that lady.

Mercury Prize

I was rooting for the above artists(Laura Marling, Wild Beasts especially Wild Beasts and Villagers) and the xx who won.
I still love the album so i'm glad there is probably going to be some pressure on them what to do on the second one now...

Foals were also nominated and some people would probably always doubt my taste after this confession but till this day i don't really like the new Foals album.
*pfew* there i said it and i actually don't care what people think about me now.

I'm 23 today!

Last week i already bought myself a small birthday present: Chanel Inimitable Intense and Rouge Coco.

Ever since Glamour published their december 2008(?) issue with a sample of Chanel Inimitable i've been hooked.
My old Inimitable had a surprisingly long life and after that i bought Exceptionnel De Chanel.
Nice but a little bit too much for me. I rarely use it.
This time i wanted to buy Inimitable again but when i noticed Intense and heard about the intensity of it i bought that one and i'm very happy with it.

I also wanted a lipstick that would make my face look a bit more wow so i tried a few colours on and the Rouge Coco: Gabriella was the nicest no fierce (it really is a bold colour red) even that i bought it.
